Budget resin geode with dollar store supplies

This is the first geode art that I took any video of. I had already started and had mapped out my colors, painted the base and added my sparkles, beads and stones before I started to record the rest of the process.  This is created on a 6 inch birch cradled panel.

I used green stone vase filler chips from the dollar store, and green/blue seed beads, along with some blue glass glitter. The paints were Color Shift paints. My favorite part is probably the silver metallic pigment – well, and the black/gold color shift in the corners. You have to LOVE that Color Shift Paint.

To finish, I added extra lines for definition in gold and silver paint pens. I LOVE it!
